    This is an excellent book! I read it in record time as it was so engrossing that I had to keep going! A wonderful story following the intersecting lives of two women, one in the 1920’s-1930’s and the other in the 1950’s, taking place briefly in London and Monte Carlo, but mostly in New York and Paris. It is a very sensual book of fragrances, fashion, sexuality, high society privileges and also of working class trials and tribulations. An inheritance from a mysterious stranger is the basis of the story and each piece of the puzzle is revealed ever so slowly with excellent character developments of the main players.   3. Spring Time at Bookshelf Wines

    Bookshelf Wines' VineyardHello all.

    We hope you are healthy and beginning to enjoy our nice, sunny weather. We are well and getting out to the vineyard!

    May Update:  The vines are growing like crazy and looking healthy.  They are thriving in the sunshine and loved the recent rains.  In addition to working on the vines, we have been bottling wines and making summer plans.  We are tucking shoots under the wires...its a never-ending process!

    Out of respect for no large party requirements due to COVID 19, we cancelled our scheduled June 13 Spring Party. All is not lost however. We have made plans for smaller gatherings in the vineyard where we can be distant but together. We have worked out a process for product sampling with minimal human contact required.
